3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping

There are many names for "Rapid Prototyping", but it basically means making a plastic sample of the finish product to see if it will accomplish what the engineers had in mind. The machine we have is an Alaris Objet 30 3D printer. It makes beautiful accurate (+/-.002") plastic prototype parts from CAD files. The best part is that most jobs can be finished in 24 hours or less, allowing you to see your part in your hand before you spend thousands of dollars, and wait weeks to see the finished product.
